Frequently Asked Questions
Something you're burning to know? Hopefully I can help you out on this page! If not, don't hesitate to message me and ask!
Do you travel to shoot weddings further afield?
Absolutely! Travel is included within 50 miles of Chelsea in London. But if you’re getting married outside this arwa I’d still love to photograph your wedding and I’m happy to travel for the cost of fuel (the first 50 miles there are back are always free). Just get in touch and we can discuss your requirements. I would also LOVE to cover your destination wedding, so if you're tying the knot abroad (lucky you!) do ask me for a quote.

Can I hire you for a short time?
If you're looking for a short amount of coverage, I have a package which gives you coverage for up to two hours - perfect for a wedding ceremony and some photographs before and after (you can learn more about it here). However, if you feel that isn't right for you, I am very happy to do you a bespoke quote to fit your requirements. Please send me a message with what you're looking for and I can quote you.

Do you edit your photos?
Yes. Editing is the most time-intensive part of your wedding as I work hard to ensure every image meets my standard. Every photo has my custom look applied, and is adjusted for things like brightness and optimal colour. I am also happy to do minor retouching free of charge, so if you get a blemish on the day, don't worry about it! I can whip that away like it was never there.
Can I have two photographers?
If you’re interested in a second shooter to cover more of your day, that’s certainly something I can arrange and it can be added to any package (it comes as standard with my top packages - The Queen Bee and The Queen Bee+). Price will vary depending on whether you want a second for a half or full day.

Do you do albums?
Of course! You can add an album on to any package, before or after the wedding. They’re fantastic keepsakes to commemorate your day and come in a range of sizes, with a selection of gorgeous covers and layflat pages. I also give you choice over which images are included so you know your favourites are in there!

Can I have black and white photos?
YES! The beauty of shooting in digital is that I am able to produce ALL your photos in either colour or black and white! When I am processing your photos I’d be very happy to do a black and white set if that is something you would like. A full set is an extra £100, but if you just want the odd photo in black and white, that's not a problem, I'm happy to do that free of charge.
Do you do videography?
I don't in the traditional sense (yet), but I do now offer little wedding highlights videos which you can add on to any package. You can learn more here. If you'd like a solo videographer doing all the traditional stuff, I would be delighted to offer recommendations, or provide a quote for a combined photography/videography package with an associate.
I'd like to book. How do I go about it?
AMAZING! I can’t wait to get to know you and am so thrilled you’ve chosen me! To secure your date I need you to do three things - fill in my booking form, sign my contract, and provide a 25% deposit. Dates cannot be reserved until these have been received. Get in touch and I'll send you the link to my online booking platform.

Can I still have the traditional group and detail shots etc?
Of course. While I specialise in documentary photography I’m more than happy to take some more traditional shots if that’s something you’d like. My approach is that it’s YOUR day, and it’s up to you.
However, I will caveat that this is not my area of speciality. If your dream is hundreds of artfully-arranged flatlays of every single wedding detail, I may not be the most appropriate photographer for you. You may be more suited to a traditional-style wedding photographer and I would be happy to offer recommendations.
What happens if you are ill or can't attend?
I hope this would not occur, but, as with any supplier, it is possible an emergency or illness could prevent me from attending your wedding. In this very unlikely event, I will do my utmost to try to find a similar style replacement from my trusted network of professional wedding photographers.
How long will it be until we get our photos?
I aim to have your photographs finished within twelve weeks, and sooner, if possible. That said, busy summer months mean dozens upon dozens of weddings and a LOT of editing, and I never want to compromise on quality in a rush to finish faster, so circumstances may arise that prevent me from maintaining that twelve week estimate. If this is the case, I will work to get you your photos as quickly as possible.
