I made my second trip to this lovely wedding venue on the Essex/London border earlier this year, and mercifully this time it wasn't torrentially raining! I've really enjoyed working at The Barns at Lodge Farm as there's so much character at every turn, which makes my job as a photographer very easy as there are so many nice backdrops!
I've been test driving several different films as I launch myself back into shooting on 35mm, so I took my trusty Canon 1N along with me, thinking the venue would lend itself well to some gorgeous film shots.
These photos were shot on a mixture of Kodak Pro Image 100 and Lomography 400, and while I probably won't use either going forward (I found photos taken with the second half of the Kodak at a different wedding with lots of greenery and sun were SO BLOODY GREEN, and the Lomo was just a bit too dark, moody and grainy), I'm pretty happy with how these came out! So whether you're a film enthusiast, or just want to check this fab venue out - enjoy!
